The SEC may be gagging people from criticizing referees, but since they refuse to admit BHGP as a 13th member, it’s open season. The holding call on Eubanks on the touchdown was bullshit. The fumble call on Wegher was bullshit. The three consecutive defensive holding/pass interference calls on the last drive were supreme bullshit. We can’t claim that the referees cost Iowa a win, but it’s plain to see they cost Iowa their shot at the win.

Ohhhh CU fans. It must be rough.

This makes me proud to say that Iowa fans have never undergone so many team color changes. Oh and maybe I’m pretty proud that IOWA fans have only ever worn a color other than our great black and gold to show support for award-nominee (and eventual winner) Shonn Greene.

If CU fans had half as much faith in their team as Iowa fans have for our team, maybe they would’ve won more than two games this season… just sayin’.

People have this (perception) with Iowa where they look at our school like we don’t have the superior talent, it’s a farming place, there’s nothing to do there and we’re just Iowa, we’re just trying, we’re just lucking our way to each win. But they have no idea what we’re doing, our game plans, our team’s demeanor, our focus, the countless hours with the coaches. We understand what this is all about.
